Keeping up with trends has never really been my thing until my new Mac laptop got me into ladies laptop bags. Although during my twenties, I was obsessed with matching everything in my outfit–shoes, belts, earrings, pocketbooks. And they were all colorful. Later, after working in Manhattan, I became a little more conservative wearing the classic city shades of black, grey, brown and white.

Now twenty years later, my two daughters–one in her twenties and the other ten going on thirty–keep me abreast to the latest trends. My little one especially keeps me current with Disney features, girly fashions and the hottest new starlet or heart-throb. A while back everything was about mermaids with her, which lead us to watching the American-Australian made movie Aquamarine, starring Sara Paxton, about a thousand times. She’s now in the hottest new show “The Beautiful Life” premiering September 16th on the CW Television Network.
